IBAN

Definition

An IBAN is the international bank account number. Estonian IBANs start with EE and have 20 characters. Customers use the IBAN on your invoice to pay you, so it must be correct.

Example. The 20-character IBAN of your company account is printed on every invoice, so the customer pays into the right account.

Why it matters for your company

A wrong IBAN on an invoice means a late payment. Sapita checks the format of your IBAN and puts it on each invoice, so customers pay the right account.

Where you see it in Sapita

In the company details that appear on each sales invoice, and on the payment screen for matching.
