VD
Definition
VD is the report of intra-EU supplies, the sales of goods and certain services to VAT-registered businesses in other EU countries. It is filed with EMTA for the period in which such supplies were made, and only when there are reportable supplies.
Example. Selling goods worth €5,000 to a VAT-registered company in Finland in May is a supply that appears in the May VD report.
Why it matters for your company
A VD is due only when you make reportable supplies, but missing one is a compliance failure. Sapita shows the item when reportable supplies exist.
Where you see it in Sapita
In the calendar, as the VD item, with a note that no report is needed when there are no reportable supplies.
