e-MTA
Definition
e-MTA is the online service of the Tax and Customs Board (EMTA). Companies file their returns there, such as the VAT return and the TSD return, and see their tax account balances. You sign in with your own login.
Example. The KMD for April is uploaded and submitted in e-MTA, and the confirmation is saved with the April records.
Why it matters for your company
Sapita prepares the return files, but you still submit most of them in e-MTA. Knowing where that happens is part of the monthly routine.
